Who Are We?

Our Place Initiative is a not-for-profit, grassroots organization that encourages, builds and facilitates civic engagement in our community. In short - we want to help people build a better Etobicoke!

What Do We Do?

The difference between healthy communities and unhealthy ones is often ‘engagement’ – the degree to which residents feel connected to their neighbours and their community, are informed about local issues and events, are passionate about improving their community and are willing to put time and energy into doing that.

OPI aims to facilitate deeper engagement between Etobicoke citizens and their community, by hosting grassroots community  events, and advocating on issues that concern Etobicoke residents. Join us and help build a better Etobicoke.
